You have to give it to Bishop, he’s good 
In the game they go to great lengths to make Bishop a dislikeable character. I think that getting dragged in this kind of adventure would get to anybody after a while
I'm sure that deep inside, Bishop is a good guy who has been tested too much by Life. Perhaps all he needs is someone to give him a little attention

Ugh, what an awful place Ember is! Reminds me of my dad's house! xp
Yeah, Bishop is really something else. He's got the bad-boy appeal for girls (as opposed to Casavir's boy scout--er, knight and shining armour appeal) and was supposed to be a secondary romance option for female PCs, but they cut that out. I think they chose to make him an extra jerk to make up for it, but good girls always think they can tame the bad boy.
